Dog physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise in Singapore

Movement care that starts with assessment

Dog physiotherapy is not a single exercise or device. It begins by understanding how a dog stands, walks, transfers weight and responds to movement. ARK uses this information to develop a customised plan for the dog’s needs and the owner’s practical goals.

Treatment can include manual techniques, guided gym exercises, strengthening, mobility work and selected modalities such as hydrotherapy, laser, TENS or acupuncture. Owners may also be shown exercises that can be performed safely at home as part of the wider rehabilitation plan.

From clinic sessions to home care

ARK’s team introduces exercises gradually and adapts them to the dog’s confidence, comfort and response. Equipment and exercise choices are used with a clear purpose, such as improving strength, body awareness or controlled movement.

Home exercises are selected for the individual case. They supplement professional assessment and treatment; they are not a replacement for veterinary diagnosis or urgent medical care.
