Bringing rehabilitation care to your pet
Travel can be difficult for older, painful, anxious or mobility-limited pets. ARK’s house-visit service brings a rehabilitation veterinarian to the pet’s own environment, allowing assessment and treatment without the journey to the clinic.
A visit can include a full assessment, customised planning, manual techniques, tailored exercises and electrotherapy where indicated. The session is shaped around the pet’s comfort, home layout and practical mobility goals.
The home itself can inform the plan
Seeing the pet at home can reveal practical barriers such as slippery flooring, difficult transitions or areas where supportive surfaces and simple environmental changes may help. ARK can also demonstrate selected exercises or handling techniques in the place where owners will use them.
Some services and equipment remain clinic-based, including the underwater treadmill. The team will explain whether home visits, clinic appointments or a combination is most appropriate.
